Bar Focused Event Manager
Jonny Cocktail Events are looking for a new Event Manager to join our team. We are based in Rochdale and predominantly provide our services in the North West however at times we can cover events nationwide.
We specialise in providing bar services for an array of events such as private parties, corporate events, weddings and dry hire.
The role will be a mix of the day to day running of the business and then taking the lead on the many events we have lined up.
As a drinks focused business, you must have a minimum of bar supervisory experience with ideally a strong focus on cocktails.
There are a number of essential requirements in order to fulfil the role:
- Full UK Driving Licence – also with the confidence to drive company vehicles up to 3.5 ton
- Physically fit and able to lift as this is a physically demanding role
- Live in close proximity to our base in Rochdale or be happy to commute ( a car is required for this)
- Minimum 2 years experience in a busy cocktail led hospitality venue
- Willingness to work weekends and evenings
What we are looking for:
- An experienced hospitality professional with the drive to progress in the industry
- An individual who is passionate about delivering high standards
- The ability to lead a team up to 20 staff on busy events and the ability to take ownership of smaller events such as cocktail masterclasses and house parties
- Good organisational skills, not just when managing events but when helping to manage our busy unit.
- Evidence of stock management, ordering stock and processing deliveries.
- Excellent organisational skills – we can have multiple events happening at any time and the running and oversight of these will be required
This job has a minimum starting salary of £25k per year subject to the above requirements been met. This is based on a 40 hour week with regular opportunities for over time.
20 days annual leave plus bank holidays (these maybe given in leau depending on the needs of the business on the day)
