Warehouse Operative
Jonny Cocktail Events are looking to employ a warehouse operative with driving responsibilities.
We are a mobile bar events company specialising in providing bar services for an array of events such as private parties, corporate events, weddings and dry hire.
We require an individual to take over the day to day running of our warehouse in Rochdale and also support our events team with the installation and de-rig of events across the North West.
The role will vary from week to week and will predominantly focus on the running of our warehouse.
About us
Tasks will include:
- Loading and un-loading vans
- Maintaining the vans through weekly checks and cleaning
- Management of stock and equipment within the warehouse
- Basic cleaning of the warehouse
- Delivering equipment to venues and collecting orders around the local area
- Preparation of equipment and stock for upcoming events
- Maintenance of equipment which will include cleaning and minor repairs to bars, carry cases etc
The person we are looking for:
- Full UK Driving licence and over 30 years of age due to company insurance
- Confidence in driving vans up to 3.5 ton
- Physically fit due to the demands of the job, i.e Heavy lifting
- Someone who lives in close proximity to our warehouse in Rochdale
- Flexible with their time – this role can have periods which are busier than others. Also the need to work over 7 days and some weekends should we require
- A confident, outgoing individual who can adapt to our business and ideally have an interest in hospitality.
